CLOUD7 Prince Park Leather Dog Collar – Cognac/Pink

Most collars for small dogs are a bigger collar made smaller. This one is cut slim from the start, so a miniature dog carries a thin strip of soft leather instead of a strap built for a larger neck.

The cowhide is vegetable-tanned and finished with natural oils and waxes. It starts soft, darkens with wear and ends up slightly different on every dog. The hardware is genuine brass, there is an embossed leather tag, and the stitching is done by hand in Italy.

The honest part: natural leather does not like long soaks, and while it is new a little colour can rub off onto pale fabrics. If your dog swims most days, a BioThane collar will serve you better. Condition the leather now and then, and let it dry naturally if it gets wet.

Measure the neck where the collar will sit and choose the size that holds that measurement in the middle of its range, so there are holes to spare in both directions.
