Muddy walks are where a leash earns its keep. This one is made from genuine BioThane®, a coated webbing that you can hose clean and that dries fast, so a wet or dirty day does not leave you with a smelly lead in the hallway.

It is a hands free design. Wear it at the waist or across the body and your hands stay free for the phone, the coffee or the poo bag. The length adjusts from 160 to 260 cm, so you can keep your dog close on a pavement and give more room in a field. At 2 cm wide it sits comfortably in the hand. The rings, clips and length slider are all matt black steel.

Dark aubergine is a deep purple that looks smart rather than loud. If you want something brighter, the same leash comes in mint and neon orange.

The honest part: a hands free leash puts the pull on your hips. If your dog pulls hard, it is a good moment to work on loose lead walking first, as the leash does not do the training for you.

Care
