Felted Wool Dog Bone – Natural, 20 cm

The Felted Wool Bone is a 20 cm dog toy made from 100% natural felted wool, in four earthy colours: beige, brown, grey and black. It is soft, quiet and plastic-free, made for indoor play, fetch and carrying by medium and larger dogs. Each bone is felted by hand in Riga, Latvia, so shape and colour vary slightly from piece to piece.

Why felted wool

Felted wool is soft on gums and teeth but dense enough to carry, toss and tug. It has no squeaker, no plastic and no chemical smell, and because it is soft it won't scratch wooden floors or thud against furniture, which makes it a good indoor toy. When the bone softens after heavy play, wash it at 30 °C: the wool fibres tighten and the bone firms up again.

Is a felted wool bone safe for my dog?

It is made from 100% natural wool with no plastic, no squeaker and no small hard parts. As with any toy, use it for supervised play and take it away if pieces start to come loose.

Can my dog chew it?

It is made for interactive play, fetch, carrying and training rewards, not for unsupervised heavy chewing. Strong chewers will wear it down faster.

How do I wash it?

Wash it at 30 °C, by hand or on a wool cycle in the machine. The wool tightens again so the bone firms up. Let it air dry fully before giving it back.

Which size bone should I choose?

The 20 cm bone suits most medium and large dogs. For puppies and toy breeds, choose the Petite 10 cm bone.
